XFX's registration process is very easy, especially since your card's serial number is on the door hanger they include in the package I can max out the settings in practically everything. Overall Review: Don't be fooled! This card IS NOT A GTX200 series card!įor whatever reason, Nvidia decided to name this particular card as if it was part of the 200 series. But these cards suffer from insane power consumption, heat problems, noise problems and enormity of the card itself. You could however, spend about $50 more for a gtx200 series GPU from nvidia, and get way more performance. It is pretty much brand loyalty at this point. Some radeon cards do out perform this card with a lower price tag, but those cards are bigger, use more power, are nosier, and sometimes over heat. I can't even hear it over my case fans ever.Ĭons: Some Radeon cards available seem like a better value because of competitive pricing. This is important for gamers with smaller cases, or very little room in general. It is small, and it does not tie up or get in the way of wires in my case, it is about 9 inches long so do some measuring in your case before you buy.

It runs very cool on idle, around 30C in my Antec 900, and gets up to 60C under full game load. The efficient board design uses only one 6 pin power connector. Besides incredible performance, the card consumes very little power compared to other video cards in its GPU range. It can and will handle any game on the market out there on highest settings at a reasonable screen resolution. Pros: This video card performs tremendously well.
